Infection and dehydration led to the 89-year-old monarch being hospitalized
The king of Norway was hospitalized this Tuesday during a stay on the Spanish island of Tenerife.
According to a statement from Norwegian royalty, Harald V was hospitalized with an infection and dehydration.
The 89-year-old monarch has been at the helm of Norway’s destinies since 1991.
“The king was admitted to the Hospital Universitario Hospiten Sur in Tenerife this afternoon. The king is being treated for infection and dehydration and his condition is good.”
