A Holistic Program for Expectant parents

The National Forest Family Amusement House hosts overnight retreats designed to foster marital harmony and reduce stress during pregnancy.These programs incorporate a variety of activities aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being.

Key program Components:

  • DIY Prenatal Culture Class: Encourages connection and empathy between parents and their unborn child through creative activities.
  • Forest Yoga Meditation: Facilitates relaxation and physical well-being through gentle exercise and mindfulness in a natural setting.
  • Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku): Promotes mental clarity and emotional stability by immersing participants in the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest. Forest bathing, or Shinrin-Yoku as it’s known in Japan, has been shown to reduce cortisol levels and improve mood.
  • Tea Meditation: Cultivates psychological stability and mindfulness through the ritual of tea planning and consumption.

Quantifiable Benefits: Stress Reduction and Improved Well-being

Data from 2024 indicates the effectiveness of these programs. A study of participating couples revealed a notable decrease in stress levels, with an average reduction of 8.31 points on a standardized stress index.This highlights the potential of nature-based interventions to mitigate the anxieties associated with pregnancy.
