After an absence of nearly four years, BTS turns the page of waiting, and opens another titled The Big Comeback. On March 20, 2026, her fifth studio album (Arirang) will be released, marking a new phase that will be completed by a world tour, in which 79 stops have been announced so far.
The return this time is not limited to a musical release only, but is also integrated with a visual narration through cooperation with Netflix. The documentary (BTS: The Return), scheduled to be shown on March 27, goes behind the scenes of the making of the album and the reunion after the end of mandatory military service, revealing a calmer and more contemplative face of a band that redefined global success. Questions of beginnings, reconciliation with the past, and anticipating the future intersect with moments of brotherhood, laughter, and rediscovery.

As for (Arirang), it includes 14 songs that all seven members participated in writing and making, in a work that a previous statement on the Weverse platform describes as having a special significance as it is the first in three years and nine months, and it honestly reflects the feelings and challenges that the experience has accumulated. An album that is closest to BTS’s identity today, and a direct message of gratitude to its fans who have long waited for its complete return.
