Two companies caught fire and one person was injured in the city of Slaviansk of the Kuban, in the Russian Krasnodar regionafter fragments of ukrainian drones fell on them, the regional emergency center reported this Monday.
The center did not specify which companies were affected. The city is home to a private refinery with a capacity of around 100,000 barrels per daywhich supplies fuel for both domestic consumption and export.
The Russian Defense Ministry noted that air defense systems intercepted and destroyed overnight 40 Ukrainian dronesincluding 34 in the Krasnodar region. Russia attacked Ukraine last night with a total of 138 long-distance drones, of which 110 were neutralized by Ukrainian air defenses.
