The girl had multiple pathologies of internal organs and was not vaccinated against influenza and coronavirus, the Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported.
Over the week (March 16–22), the incidence of influenza and ARVI in the region increased by 6.1%. In total, 3,761 people fell ill, 1,753 of them were children. 118 patients were hospitalized, 62 of them were children.
Coronavirus was confirmed in five adults, one was hospitalized.
The overall incidence rate in the Kharkov region is below the epidemiological threshold by 64.9%. The excess was recorded only in the Bogodukhovsky district – by 26%.

A rare Russian UAV “Skat-450M” worth 400 thousand dollars was shot down in the Kharkov region
An exclusive drone was destroyed in the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction by border guards and aerial reconnaissance officers of the RUBpAK Strix, the State Border Guard Service reported.
The Russians use this UAV for deep aerial reconnaissance and guidance of Iskander missiles. During the full-scale war, from 10 to 20 such devices were destroyed, the unit added.

In the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked four times near the settlements of Volchansk, Volchanskie Khutora and Staritsa.
In the Kupyansky direction, the occupiers carried out six assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Petropavlovka, Borovskaya Andreevka, Novoplatonovka and Boguslavka. There is one fight going on.

Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the death of a woman who jumped from the window of a burning apartment on the 13th floor in Kharkov
The Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkov region previously established that a 76-year-old woman independently set fire to things in the apartment and then jumped out of the window. A note was also found in the room, which may indicate her intention to commit suicide.
“Doctors confirmed the death of the citizen at the scene. The body was sent to the morgue for forensic examination,” the police added.
Law enforcement officers are deciding the issue of opening criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code with the note “suicide”.

Jumped out of a 13th floor window due to a fire: a woman died in Kharkov
Rescuers received reports of a fire on Neskorenykh Street today, March 23, at 12:30. A woman, born in 1949, jumped out of the window of an apartment on the 13th floor where the fire occurred, noted the State Emergency Service in the Kharkov region.
She died on the spot from her injuries.
“By the time the operational units of the State Emergency Service arrived, the fire had spread to an area of about 40 square meters. Thanks to the coordinated and professional actions of the rescuers, it was possible to prevent the fire from spreading beyond the boundaries of one apartment,” the State Emergency Service noted.
At 14:14 the fire was completely extinguished. The cause of the fire is being established.

The Joint Forces Group reported that statements about the advance of Russian troops in Volchansk and Sinkovka are unreliable.
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in Volchansk the enemy continues to try to break through the Ukrainian defenses, but they emphasize that the fighters are holding their positions.
“In the Velikoburluk direction the situation has not changed significantly. The invaders are gathering forces to resume their offensive. In the Kupyansk direction, the occupiers unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses towards Borovskaya Andreevka, Kupyansk, Novoplatonovka and Kovsharovka,” noted the United Groups.

Drones and KABs flew into the region, Sinegubov reported on the consequences
Nine settlements in the Kharkov region were attacked by Russians over the past 24 hours, reports the head of the KhOVA Oleg Sinegubov. There are casualties and destruction due to shelling.
“As a result of shelling in the village. Stary Saltov, a 77-year-old woman suffered an acute reaction to stress,” noted Sinegubov.
The following weapons hit the region:
- ten cabs;
- seven UAVs of the “Geran-2” type;
- two fpv drones;
- eight UAVs (type to be determined).
Civil infrastructure in the Kupyansky, Izyumsky, Kharkovsky, Lozovsky and Chuguevsky districts was under attack within 24 hours, the head of the KhOVA added.

What was burning in the Kharkov region after UAV strikes, the State Emergency Service told
Over the past 24 hours, 17 fires raged in the Kharkov region. Four of them began after Russian shelling of the Kupyansky, Lozovsky and Chuguevsky districts. This was reported to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkov region.
“On March 22, Russian troops attacked the village of Velikiy Burluk in the Kupyansky district with attack drones. As a result of the hit, two garage boxes on the territory of the medical institution were destroyed and caught fire. The fire area was 100 square meters. The power line was also damaged. There were no injuries,” the State Emergency Service noted.
After the “arrival” of the UAV along Chuguev, grass on an area of 30 square meters caught fire, and there was a casualty. And in Stary Saltov in the Chuguevsky district, as a result of a drone strike, a garage burned, five houses and a car were damaged, and a woman was injured.

Analysts of the Deep State project updated the map of military operations in the Kharkov region and noted which territories were captured by the enemy.
