The KPK has received documents from the MSME Minister, Maman Abdurrahman, related to the viral visit of his wife abroad. The document was immediately studied by the KPK internal.
“Earlier the Minister also delivered several documents to the KPK,” said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters at the KPK Red and White Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Friday (4/7/2025).
Budi said the KPK would study the documents submitted by Maman. He also said that the KPK continued to remind that state administrators could always be careful in every potential gratification to conflicts of interest.

“Of course we will learn these documents further. And here we also remind generally as a state organizer, anyone, of course we must also always be careful related to the potential for gratification or conflict of interest,” Budi said.
“Because the gratification or conflict of interest is not only in the form of goods and services, but can also be in the form of facilities, treatment, and so on,” he said.
In addition, Budi explained that Maman’s visit to the KPK was also in order to prevent corruption. The Ministry of MSMEs also requested assistance in priority programs that are being implemented.
“Indeed, in the Ministry of UMKM there are several priority programs which of course also need assistance, efforts to prevent corruption so that the budget that will be poured out, prepared for these programs can also be carried out, can be carried out with mechanisms in accordance with the provisions. So that we can mitigate gaps prone to corruption,” he concluded.
As is known, the Minister of UMKM, Maman Abdurrahman, visited the KPK building this afternoon. Maman said he came to the KPK to submit documents related to the viral letter of his wife’s visit to Europe.
“My presence to the KPK, I want to convey on my personal initiative. My capacity as a minister of MSMEs and this is a form of my accountability to the nation and country and I took the initiative to submit several documents,” Maman said when I arrived at the KPK Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, this afternoon.
“Documents to complete the polemic of the issue that have been developing for me and my family for a few days. Later for more details, I ask friends to be able to wait a minute,” explained Maman.
For information, the Ministry of UMKM’s letter requested the assistance of six Embassies (Embassy) during the visit of Agustina Hastarini, wife of UMKM Minister Maman Abdurrahman, to Europe in the spotlight. Maman stated that he would go to the KPK to submit a number of documents and provide press statements.
The letter referred to numbered B-466/SM.UMKM/PR.01/2025 with information on the visit of the wife of the Minister of UMKM of the Republic of Indonesia. The letter dated June 30, 2025 was addressed to the six Indonesian Embassy and a Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia.
In the letter, the wife of the Minister of UMKM was said to be carrying out cultural mission activities in Istanbul, Türkiye; Pomorie, Bulgaria; Sofia, Bulgaria; Brussels, Belgium; Paris, France; Lucerne, Switzerland; and Milan, Italy. The core of the letter is a request for support from the Indonesian Embassy in the countries in question to provide assistance during the cultural mission of the wife of the MSME Minister.
