Konstantin Tsanev, whose star appeared 46 years ago in the series “The Road to Sofia” and then surprisingly left for Germany, where he lives so far, returned to Bulgarian cinema. He has starred in the debut film by director Kamen Kolarov “Sech”, inspired by the story of Haitov “The Forest Spirit”.
The first stage of the photos on it ended, and besides Tsanev with the lead role is Velislav Pavlov. The story of “Sech” is about the injured former Special Forces sniper Yusein Getov, who returns to his home village in the Rhodopes after overseas missions. Having reached the edge of self -destruction, he finds salvation in the old forest Rangel Doychinov, who has known him since a child. In search of redemption and a new beginning, Yusein becomes Forest, which pus pushes it in a direct clash with the wooden mafia, which began to destroy the centuries -old forest above the village.
As a student at VITIZ Konstantin Tsanev became known after the “road to Sofia”. In 1990 he left for Germany, where he worked at the Bulgarian edition of the Deutsche Welle Radio in Cologne. In 2007, after almost 20 years of absence from Bulgarian cinema, director Mariana Evstatieva-Biolcheva invited him for the lead role in the TV series “Lyudmil and Ruslana”. The new movie “Meduch” is expected to be on screen in early 2027. (24 Chas)
