CRITICAL MESSAGES FROM ZAMİR IN Washington
According to the news of Channel 12 broadcasting in Israel, Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir claimed that “Iran is trying to deceive the USA” in his meetings with US officials during his visit to Washington.
Zamir was quoted as saying that Israel put forward three basic conditions for a “good deal” with Iran. It was stated that these conditions were for Iran to completely terminate its nuclear and ballistic missile program and cease support to its proxies in the region.

The news stated that the main reason why Zamir went to Washington was the concern that “the USA could make a bad deal with Iran”.

The Israeli press wrote that these contacts were considered as part of Tel Aviv’s effort to increase diplomatic pressure on Washington regarding Iran.

SECURITY MEETING FROM NETANYAHU WITH IRAN AGENDA
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a security meeting with the participation of Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, who had contacts with Iran in the USA and returned to his country.
According to the news of Israeli state television KAN, the meeting included; Prime Minister Netanyahu, Chief of General Staff Zamir and David Barnea, Director of Israel’s foreign intelligence service MOSSAD, attended.

IT CAME IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE US CONTACTS
It was noteworthy that the meeting was held right after Zamir and senior defense officials visited the USA and held talks on the Iran file.
The news claimed that Zamir went to the USA on a private plane instead of a military plane in order to make it more difficult to detect him, and that he tried to persuade the Washington administration about an attack on Iran.
CLAIM: “TRUMP WANTS A HARD NEGOTIATION”
An unnamed Israeli official who participated in the talks with US officials argued that US President Donald Trump wants to conduct a harsh negotiation process with Iran and that this could lead to the complete elimination of Iran’s nuclear program.

EMPHASIS THAT ISRAEL’S CHOICE IS THE MILITARY OPTION
According to the news, Israeli officials clearly stated during the talks that Israel preferred the US to launch a military attack on Iran.
Officials claimed that if the attack option is not activated, this will have some consequences, and one of these consequences will be Iran making progress towards obtaining nuclear weapons.
It was also reported that the Israeli side conveyed its concerns about Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile program to its US counterparts.

MUTUAL MOVES FROM THE EU AND IRAN
Anouar El Anouni, Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs of the EU Commission, answered the questions of journalists at the daily press conference and stated that Iran put the EU armies on the terrorist list and that they completely reject the accusations of terrorism.
El Anouni said, “We completely reject Iran’s listing of EU armies as terrorists and the accusations of terrorism.” he emphasized.
Regarding the summoning of the ambassadors and representatives of EU countries in Tehran to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, al-Anouni merely said that this was a diplomatic practice in accordance with the Vienna Convention. Regarding contact with Iran, El Anouni referred to the statement made by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, and stated that diplomatic communication channels will continue to be open and that Kallas continues to communicate with all partners in the region.

The Iranian Parliament passed a law stipulating that European armies will be defined as “terrorist organizations” if the EU puts the Revolutionary Guards Army on the “terrorist” list in 2023. In 2019, Iran defined the US army as a “terrorist organization” after the US declared the Revolutionary Guard Army as a “foreign terrorist organization”.
