Bomber

Bomber jackets are taking center stage in outerwear this fall. And the reason is that this model looks unpretentious and can be combined with different styles of clothes, becoming a natural finish to the outfit. His sporty look also goes with elegant dresses, and this is how the hit in recent years deliberately sought contrast in the outfit is achieved.

Designers launch it in light and dark beige, brown, olive green, black. For everyday life, you can choose a short version, combined with high-waisted baggy jeans and classic white sneakers. The black bomber gives a stricter line, but to break up the look, combine it with a checkered skirt and cubbies. It can also be worn over a chunky wool cardigan and cargo pants.

Models made of expensive fabrics or with added delicate details can also be worn with evening wear. Although the traditional bomber jacket line is wide, it can also be cinched with ties at the waist. Such an option is a perfect addition to satin trousers or an elegant black dress.

Sheepskin or eco-variant

The sheepskin jacket is a favorite of icons from the 1970s, but also of today’s fashion influencers. This type of garment is an investment in time, because with proper care – professional cleaning and storage in an airy place, it can be worn for decades. More and more brands also offer eco-variants from recycled or sustainably sourced materials, which makes the choice even better.

Sheepskin (or shearling) has a long history, from its initial use as part of military aviator uniforms to its transformation into a luxury fashion item. Today, the sheepskin jacket combines the best of two eras – the functionality of army clothing and the aesthetics of contemporary street style.

The model with a loose cut, fluffy shawl collar and external pockets is suitable for both a walk in the city and a Sunday coffee at your favorite restaurant. It is combined with jeans and a sweater during the day, and in the evening with a tight dress. A sheepskin jacket or its eco-variant, which is preferable, also goes well with skinny leather pants and a body-con top, but also goes with a short dress with high-heeled boots. For the office, it can be worn over a wool pencil skirt and shirt.

In addition to the traditional beige and brown tones, the jacket is also available in burgundy, white, and graphite gray.

With velvet yak

This preppy season, the jacket with a velvet collar is also back, which is called “field” because of its design – it is inspired by military and country clothing. The model has a straight, loose cut and large outer pockets. The “field” jacket is made from organic cotton, recycled materials or waterproof fabrics, resistant to rain and wind.

Goes well with a cashmere sweater and jeans for the weekend or with a pencil skirt and shirt for business everyday. It can also be worn with wool trousers and a polo neck sweater, or when looking for contrast – with a silk dress and rough shoes.

This type of jacket is most often in rich earth tones such as olive green, brown, ocher, dark blue.

Velor

A suede jacket adds subtle sophistication and a slight bohemian chic no matter what it’s paired with. And while it may seem delicate at first glance, it’s an investment that, with proper care, will serve you for years.

When we talk about suede, we can’t help but make a reference to the 70s – a time of freedom, artistic flourishing and natural aesthetics. Back then, suede was the choice for all those looking for individuality and casual style. Today, designers are reviving it in new, modern forms – with emphasized silhouettes, modern colors and fine attention to detail. They are launching it not only in the classic caramel or cognac suede, but also in deep burgundy, olive green, goch color and chocolate brown.

The straight-cut, unlined slim suede jacket can be teamed with high-waisted trousers, a polo shirt and knee-high leather boots. Or put on jeans, boots and a white t-shirt. The fitted models enter the office look and are worn with a shirt and trousers, and for free time – with jeans and sneakers. For an evening out, the jacket is combined with a jumpsuit type dress and high boots. For a more artistic look, the outerwear, regardless of the occasion, can be added with glasses with vintage frames or fingerless gloves.

Many people avoid suede clothing for fear that it will wear out quickly or get dirty easily. But with proper maintenance, a jacket can look great for years. The fabric can be stored with a water repellent and protective spray. Stains are carefully cleaned with a special suede brush. It is important to store it on a hanger with padding so that it does not deform.

Denim

In fashion, there are clothes that pass through the decades, generation after generation, and never lose relevance. So is the denim jacket – an icon of American style, a symbol of rebellion, youth and timeless chic. But this fall, it returns not just as a classic, but as a multifunctional item in the wardrobe.

Originally appearing as workwear, today the denim jacket is everywhere – on the catwalk, on the street, in the office and even on the red carpet. It is worn not only in spring and autumn, but can also be worn under a coat in winter or under an oversized blazer. One of its most popular uses is with jeans, and this style has been given the name “Canadian Tuxedo”. This autumn, however, you can experiment with shades – boldly mix faded denim with rich indigo. The denim jacket is also worn over an airy dress with floral motifs and high-heeled boots. A saddle bag is added to them. Its name comes from its resemblance to the bags that attach to the saddle of a horse, have a curved bottom and often have a flap that closes in front.

Blue remains a classic, but models in white, gray, pastel pink or even black are being launched alongside it. Variants with decorations – embroidery, eyelets, patches and a worn effect – are becoming more and more relevant, which turn an otherwise basic garment into an interesting model.
