Al-Marsad newspaper: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development begins implementing the decision to transfer the salaries of domestic workers through official channels, mandatory for all employers, starting from January 1, 2026.
As of January 2025, the decision was applied to employers who had more than 4 domestic workers, and in July 2025, the decision was applied to employers who had 3 or more domestic workers.
In October 2025, the decision came into effect on employers who have two or more domestic workers, and in early January 2026, the decision will be applied to all domestic workers.
