From Sarnico to Bordighera
Born in Sarnico in a family of ten children “Picapde and Pescaùr”, Tina brought with him the traits of the lake people: tenacious, concrete, laborious. In 1957 the family moved to Bordighera, looking for a milder climate for her husband Giuseppe – who passed away in 1975 – suffering from deforming arthritis. Here he rolled his sleeves working in the bar furnishings and also put himself at the service of many families, dealing with their children.
The link with the native land
Although he built his life in Liguria, the bond with Sarnico has never broken: Tina returns to the birthplace every year for the commemoration of the deceased and to greet his brother Costanzo, the only one still alive.
