Xi Jinping pointed out that China-Russia energy cooperation started early and has a good foundation. It is a model of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and has played a positive role in promoting the economic and social development of the two countries and improving the well-being of the two peoples.
Xi Jinping emphasized that China is willing to work with Russia to continue to consolidate the comprehensive energy partnership, jointly maintain the stability and smoothness of the global energy industry chain and supply chain, promote the construction of a more fair, just, balanced and inclusive global energy governance system, and inject more stability into the world’s energy security and green and low-carbon transformation.
On the same day, President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation also sent a congratulatory letter to the 7th China-Russia Energy Business Forum.
