Jakarta –
United States (US) stopping the delivery of missiles to Ukraine. This decision was taken by the US Department of Defense or Pentagon because of the running low stock.
Reported by the Reuters and Al Arabiya news agency, Wednesday (2/7/2025), some of the stopped shipments were air defense and other precision ammunition missiles. This includes dozens of patriot interception missiles, more than 100 hellfire missiles and dozens of stinger missiles
Politico reported, according to two sources who knew the decision to stop, the slowing down of several weapons promised to Ukraine during the reign of the former US President Joe Biden, had occurred in recent days.

The two sources added that the interception of air defense to help bring down Russian drones and projectiles, including among the postponed weapons.
NBC media reports that Ukraine will also not get thousands of 155 mm of Howitzer ammunition high explosive power and more than 250 precision missiles guided by the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS).
In an email, Pentagon said that his party gave President Donald Trump options to continue military assistance to Ukraine in line with the aim of ending the Russian War there.
“At the same time, the department strictly examined and adapted its approach to achieve this goal, while also maintaining the readiness of US troops for the priority of government defense,” said Elbridge Colby, Deputy Minister of Defense for Policy.
Russia, which has controlled about one fifth of Ukraine, has continued to advance gradually, controls the territory in the last few weeks in the southeastern region of Ukraine, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk, as well as increasing air strikes throughout the country.
All US weapons assistance was temporarily stopped in February, and was stopped again for a while last March. Trump’s government then returned to send the last assistance approved under the government of former President Joe Biden.
NBC reported, US Defense Minister Pete Hegseth suspended the shipment a few weeks after Hegseth began a review of US ammunition stocks, which had shrunk over the past few years due to massive shipments to Ukraine and the Middle East.
