According to an official of the SZBU, the drone strike caused a large-scale fire at the plant, where rocket propellant components used for H-55 and H-101 cruise missiles, as well as additives for diesel and aviation fuels are produced. The official emphasized: “Even a temporary shutdown will make it difficult to manufacture rocket propellant and reduce the enemy’s ability to sustain a sustained attack on our cities.”
UNN wrote that the attack was carried out by drones from the “Alfa” operations center of the SZBU. Following the hits, a large fire broke out in the plant area, which was also recorded by NASA’s satellite fire monitoring system.

The Redkino plant is on the sanctions list of the United States, Great Britain and several other countries and is an important link in the production of Russian maneuvering robot aircraft.
