If US President Donald Trump manages to convince Chinese President Xinjiang to abandon the use of force against Taiwan, he should receive the Nobel Prize for Peace. According to Reuters, this week in an interview in Podcast, the Taiwanese president Laj Qing-TE. US and China presidents are to meet this month.

The President Laj performed on The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, which was filmed on Taiwan. Among other things, he recalled Trump’s August words about the Chinese President, who allegedly told Trump that China would not attack Taiwan at the time of Trump’s work.

China considers the island state to be part of its territory and in the past stated that it would connect with it, even if it was a force. It also sends regular warships and aircraft to its vicinity.

“We hope that we will continue to receive support by President Trump,” Taiwanese president said. He added that if Trump convinced the Chinese President to permanently drop any military aggression against Taiwan, he would undoubtedly become a Nobel Nobel Laureate.

Trump said he deserves the prize that was given to four of his predecessors. In recent months, Pakistan, Israel or Armenia with Azerbaijan have also promised to nominate Trump. This year’s bearer will be announced on Friday.

Asked what Trump would say if they met, he answered that he would advise him to pay more attention to China’s activities. According to him, it carries out increasingly extensive military exercises in the Taiwanese Strait and expands the military forces in the East and South China Sea. Laj also pointed out that if China attached Taiwan to its territory, it would gain more power and compete to the United States.

Taiwan officials with US presidents do not directly communicate or meet them because of the absence of official relationships. The transcript of line statements on Tuesday published his office. Although the Chinese Foreign Ministry has not yet commented on the interview, after its publication, 23 Chinese military aircraft, unmanned aircraft and warships appeared on the island within a few hours.

The United States is legally obliged to provide Taiwan by means of defense. In the long term, however, according to Reuters, politicians have been “strategic ambiguities” and do not comment clearly to whether they would respond militarily to the Chinese attack on the island. However, the US Foreign Ministry claims that the US attitude towards Taiwan has not changed and that Washington is against any unilateral changes in QUO status by any of the countries.
