The youngest of the brothers and co -screenwriter Marlon Wayans confirmed information about the return of the film series on his instagram account.
“We are pleased that we can find and work with these two great women again,” said both the best friends Cindy and Brenda in the original 2000 film.
“We would literally die for Keenen, Shawn and Marlon,” Faris and Hall said in a joint statement of Deadline.
Siblings in full cooperate on a continuation of more than two decades. The Wayans last participated in the franchise in 2001, when they created Scary Movie 2. Three other parts from 2003, 2006 and 2013 were established without their involvement.
Scary Movie’s pentalogy is one of the most profitable horror comedies. It earned nearly $ 900 million and 18.8 billion crowns.
The original film with the subtitle The horrible beating was directed by Keenen. Among other things, Shawn and Marlon worked on the screenplay, who also embodied the lead roles. While working on the second image, the division of their tasks remained the same. Together, they also signed under the comedy Pidihajzlík (2006).
