Viktor Gyokeres hasn’t talked much in the inaugural match of Arsenal in the Premier League 2025/2026. Gary Neville believes that the 27 -year -old striker can help the London cannon win.
Arsenal won 1-0 against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday (8/17/2025) night WIB. The goal was scored by Riccardo Calaforiori.
Gyokeres did not appear okay in this fight. Arsenal’s brand -new player did not make an experiment during playing 60 minutes and was replaced by Kai Havertz.

However, Arsenal at least made a good start in starting the title of title by winning three points. Arsenal had previously been runner-up three times.
Neville, as the legend of Manchester United, seems to believe that Gyokeres can give more things in subsequent matches. The former Sporting CP player is believed to be able to help Arsenal close the season with the Premier League title, amid competition with Liverpool and Manchester City.
“I could not separate them, so I chose the team that I had participated in for the past three years, felt that they could be relied upon, solid, and consistent, which in my opinion was important,” Neville said about his prediction about Arsenal, quoted by the Daily Mail.
“They consistently get a total high point and finish second after the teams are great, I think they have improved themselves, I think Gyokeres will play well for Arsenal.”
“I think they have the right material on the front lines and I see Gyokeres going to get it,” Neville stressed.
