Samsung installs a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C at up to 25 watts. Galaxy M17 5G features a 13 MP selfie camera, a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 5 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. The display is protected from scratches by the robust Gorilla Glass Victus. The casing is IP54 certified, which means it is only splash-proof, but not completely waterproof. Samsung ships the affordable mid-range smartphone with Android 15 and guarantees six major Android updates and six years of security patches.
Price and availability
Samsung Galaxy M17 5G will initially launch in India, where the smartphone will be available starting October 13 at a price starting from INR 12,499 (around $140). Details on a possible international launch are still pending
