Jakarta – The drama of the British royal family seems to start entering a new chapter. After years of conflict and distance, Prince Harry finally met his father, King Charles III.
This meeting took place at the Clarence House, London, on Wednesday (10/9) afternoon local time, after both of them were more than a year away.
A source said to the Daily Mail that Harry began to regret his actions in the past which made family relationships tense.
“It is clear that Harry is now regretting some of his actions. He wants to restore his relationship with the British family and people,” said a source, quoted on Monday (9/15/2025).
Not only Harry, reportedly King Charles who is now 76 years old and still undergoing cancer treatment also wants to improve relations with his son. Moreover, he has not met his grandchildren for three years, Archie and Lilibet.
This meeting was said to be a turning point not only for Harry, but also for Meghan Markle and their small family so they could return to being part of a large family.
According to Page Six report, the Duke of Sussex came to the Clarence House around 17:20 wearing a black SUV. The meeting of drinking private tea lasted about 55 minutes, longer than Harry’s last visit which was only 30 minutes.
After leaving, Harry was highlighted by the camera and answered briefly the media’s questions.
“Yes, my father is in good condition, thank you,” he said, as reported by the Daily Mail.
As is known, Harry’s relationship and his family have been full of drama in recent years. From the departure of him from the kingdom, a controversial memoir book, to the hot interview with the BBC, all had made the distance wider.
