Photoneo, now a part of Zebra Technologies, will highlight its latest advancements in 3D vision and robotic intelligence at Automatica 2025 in Munich. the event, held at Booth #227, Hall B5, will feature the unveiling of updated AI-driven bin picking software and a new 3D sensor.

The updated software suite, which includes Bin Picking Studio 1.10 and Locator Studio 1.3,introduces “Dedicated Tote Detection & Multi-Neural Network” capabilities. This promises to enhance vision-guided robotics (VGR) intelligence.

Building on the recent launch of the MotionCam-3D color (Blue), Photoneo will also introduce a new 3D sensor in the blue laser family. This sensor is engineered to improve precision and reliability in industrial automation, designed to handle challenging scanning scenarios, including submillimeter features and difficult materials.

Attendees at Automatica 2025 will have the opportunity to see how the new sensor, combined with Photoneo’s AI-powered automation software, can create synergies for vision-guided robotics.

The new software suite includes clever features and improvements focused on enhanced performance and easier integration for logistics and other robotic applications.

“We are immensely proud to bring this significant evolution in robotic intelligence to Automatica 2025,” said Svorad Stolc
