by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

The American developer company Chatgpt has released its last artificial intelligence model for video generation. However, the declared Openai policy regarding the creation of a video, in all likelihood, will become a new subject of disputes regarding generative AI and copyright.

Openai on Tuesday introduced the Sora 2 model, capable of creating high -clay video based on text tasks. According to the company, the model has more physical accuracy than the previous ones, as well as excellent realism, cinematography and animation styles.

Openai also launched an application that allows users to exchange the created Sora 2 clips as done on social networks.

The Wall Street Journal said that the model creates a video using materials protected by copyright, if copyright owners do not prohibit showing their work.

The newspaper adds that such a refusal implies that film studios and other intellectual property owners will have to specifically ask Openai not to use their copyright -protected materials in the video created by Sora 2.

The Reuters news agency brought the words of the company who said that Openai has been negotiating with different copyright owners in recent weeks to discuss this approach.

It also reported with reference to informed persons that at least one large studio, namely Walt Disney Company, has already forbidden the use of its materials in the appendix.

Users of social networks have already downloaded videos, which, according to them, were created by Sora 2. In many clips, the characters of the Japanese anime appear.
