Democrats Fall Into the Mamdani Line” notes, some of my state’s elected officials have endorsed the 34-year-old assemblyman for mayor of New York City. I’m not joining them. I’m a Democratic capitalist, not a Democratic socialist, and I endorse Andrew Cuomo. A DSA acolyte with a thin résumé can’t run America’s most complex city.

I have long said that Zohran Mamdanilike President Trump, has properly identified the frustrations facing many Americans: The cost of living is too high. While that diagnosis is correct, Mr. Mamdani’s solutions are not. New York’s already enormous tax burden is driving residents and businesses away.
