NAS: the local solution for complete control
An alternative to cloud storage is your save files locally on a NAS (Network Attached Storage). This is a device with one or more hard drives, connected to your network, with which you share data on multiple devices.
A NAS works like its own mini-server: your files stay at home, but can still be accessed (safely) anywhere – without monthly subscription costs or dependence on a major player. Modern NAS devices are very user-friendly, even for non-techies.
