UAn “important drug trafficker”, who had been arrested in Colombia, was extradited to Portugal to serve a total of 11 years in prison, following his conviction for the crime of aggravated drug trafficking.
According to a statement from the Judiciary Police (PJ) to which the News by the Minute had access, the man “known by the nickname ‘El Doctor'”, was convicted by Portuguese justice in a process initiated following an operation in Costa da Caparica.
According to the authority, the operation took place on July 31, 2012, during which four other individuals were arrested, all foreigners. More than 340 kilograms of cocaine were also seized.
