Donald Trumps USA:
One of America’s most high-profile conservative commentators describes the Trump administration as a moral abyss, and totally slaughters the president and his disciples.
“Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth appears to be a war criminal. Without a war. An interesting achievement,” writes George F. Will, one of America’s most prominent conservative commentators and writers, in the Washington Post.
At the weekend, the same newspaper revealed that the US Secretary of Defense, who also holds the title of Secretary of War, is said to have given the order to “kill all” survivors of an American airstrike against an alleged smuggling boat in the Caribbean Sea in September.
Hegseth calls the accusations “fake news”, but at the same time confirms that the boat was attacked twice. He claims that he did not see the survivors after the first attack, and refers to the “fog of war” when he defends the attack against the alleged smuggling boat. A total of eleven people were killed in the American airstrikes.

Radbreaker Rubio
The Washington Post commentator Will describes the American airstrikes as murder.
“That this moral slum of an administration is killing survivors should sicken Americans. A nation that is unable to be ashamed is dangerous, not least to itself. As the recent ‘peace plan’ for Ukraine has shown,” he writes.
Next, Will tackles another high-profile member of Donald Trump’s administration.
“Marco Rubio, who is the Secretary of State and Trump’s national security adviser, appeared to be neither when the president unveiled his 28-point plan for the partition of Ukraine. The plan was thrown together by the Trump administration and Russian officials, without Ukrainian participation. It sounds like a wish list from Vladimir Putin to Santa Claus,” writes Will.

“Worse than incompetent”
The commentator then refers to how Rubio first appeared to distance himself from the 28-point plan to a number of US senators, and described it as a proposal from the Russians. A few hours later, however, Rubio turned around and claimed the peace plan was authored by the US authorities.
This is the plan
After intense Ukrainian and European diplomacy towards the United States, Ukraine and the United States last week agreed on a new peace agreement with 19 points.
“Trump and his disciples are worse than just incompetent,” Will initially writes in the comment.
Later he adds:
“The administration’s faltering may reflect more than its characteristic incompetence. In a darker world, systematic weaknesses in prosperous democracies become more apparent.’

Air strikes against boats
In recent months, the United States has carried out 21 attacks against a number of small boats that they believe are smuggling drugs from Venezuela to the United States, according to the Pentagon. At least 83 people have been killed in these airstrikes, which have taken place in international waters.

Trump’s peace plan: – No longer exists
Despite widespread criticism, the US defense minister has no plans to stop the attacks on what he believes to be boats with drug traffickers.
– We have only just begun to attack drug boats and send drug terrorists to the bottom of the sea, because they have poisoned the American people, Hegseth said during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, according to Reuters.

Met Putin
Recently, there have been several rounds of talks about the US’s proposal for a peace plan for Ukraine, both within Europe and NATO and between the US and Russia.
On Tuesday, US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
No solution came out of the talks, according to the Kremlin.
– So far we have not reached any compromise, but some American solutions can be discussed, said President Vladimir Putin’s foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov on questions related to Ukrainian territories early Wednesday night.
