Free Immunization Clinic prepares Students for School

The Metro Area Immunization Clinic is offering a convenient way for families to ensure their children are ready for school by providing all required immunizations in a single visit. The clinic will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9,from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Berna Facio Professional Advancement Center, located at 3315 Louisiana Blvd. NE.

This community event offers free, school-required vaccines to all students. Families are encouraged to bring their child’s immunization records and insurance information,if available. However, there will be no cost, nonetheless of insurance status. On-site registration is available, and a parent or guardian must be present for a child to receive vaccinations.
