Marta Temido, the former Minister of Health and current president of the PS-Lisbon council, will lead the PS list for the elections to the European Parliament on 9 June, with the rest of the podium being occupied by deputy Francisco Assis – who became considered for head of the list – and by the deputy and former deputy minister and of Parliamentary Affairs Ana Catarina Mendes. The list was approved on Monday night at the meeting of the party’s national political commission with 76% votes in favor (41), 16% against (nine) and 8% abstentions.
