NASAs Mars and Moon missions are falling apart. A double defeat against China is increasingly likely

It is not unusual for China to achieve milestones in space exploration that the United States does not yet have to its credit, such as successfully landing on the far side of the Moon or bringing samples from the youngest regions of the satellite to Earth. But what happens if China hits where it hurts?

The two most important exploration missions for NASA right now are to bring to Earth the rock samples that the Perseverance rover is collecting on Mars and return to the Moon after 50 years with the first woman. As the space agency’s budget problems and its partners’ delays put these two missions in jeopardy, China is more likely to achieve both before NASA.

Mars Sample Return

Overshadowed by the fame of its small companion Ingenuity, NASA’s Perseverance rover has done a brilliant job selecting samples of Martian rocks and depositing them in tubes on the surface of Mars so that NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) can bring them back to Earth in the future Mars Sample Return (MSR) mission.

The news is that NASA has just halted MSR development in an attempt to contain its budget after a pair of expert committees concluded that the mission cannot be completed until 2040 with a budget of between $8 billion and $11 billion.

Germany Introduces Innovative Vertical Floating Solar System for Energy Production

(Photo=Power of God)

A new vertical floating solar system has been introduced in Germany for the first time.

Solar Quarter reported on the 23rd (local time) that German solar company Sinn Power is developing the region’s first floating solar system in cooperation with KQ Zeiss, a gravel crushing plant located in Gilching, Bavaria.

Therefore, unlike existing solar systems, this project features vertically arranged solar modules.

It features the use of Shin Power’s patented “floating tilt” module, a concept that optimizes energy production by adjusting the module’s tilt based on the angle of the sun.

In particular, because the panels are constructed using formulas, they are said to be advantageous for reducing land use and circumventing regulatory restrictions. It can be flexibly deformed according to wind load and ensures durability and stability.

The installation of approximately 2,500 solar modules is planned. The distance between modules is 3.9 m, allowing for efficient use of space.

Home alone we are completely detached

#Home #are.. #completely #detached

Together you are less alone, but among yourself you are less ashamed. In the company of others you often feel obliged to follow etiquette and don’t want to be accused of not having had a good nursery. But if you’re alone at home – and that’s around 1.5 million people in Austria – you no longer have to be too strict about the rules of etiquette. After all, no judgmental gaze is directed at us.

Everything easy.
Sleeping per se is nothing to be ashamed of. However, some people feel the need to justify staying in bed until lunchtime on the weekends. That’s why it’s something they tend to only do when they’re all alone in their four walls. The 30 to 39 year old age group is particularly in need of sleep; 54 percent of them indulge in long sleeps. In undisturbed moments, the Austrians even let body noises run free. Almost every second person surveyed does this, including significantly more men (57%) than women (38%). Age also plays a role in this habit, as people under 40 often simply let their body odors escape.

Unveiling the Power of GPT-4: Autonomous Exploitation of Zero-Day Security Vulnerabilities

Unveiling GPT-4: A Game-Changer⁣ in Cybersecurity

The Latest Breakthrough: GPT-4 emerges⁢ as⁤ the cutting-edge multimodal large language model (LLM) developed by OpenAI. This revolutionary model, now part of the premium ChatGPT⁤ Plus service,⁢ showcases remarkable proficiency in pinpointing security vulnerabilities autonomously.

The Dark Side of AI:

Recent studies‌ have exposed the dark potential of leveraging LLMs and chatbots for nefarious purposes, such as spreading a self-replicating computer worm. A ‌fresh investigation delves into how GPT-4, the pinnacle‌ of chatbot technology, can exploit critical security loopholes‌ by simply analyzing flaw specifics.

The Ethical Dilemma:

As per the research, while ⁢LLMs have surged in power, they lack ethical guidelines to govern their actions. Researchers conducted tests on various models, including‌ commercial offerings from OpenAI, open-source ⁤LLMs, and tools like ZAP and Metasploit. The results unveiled ‍the autonomous exploitation of zero-day vulnerabilities by ⁤advanced AI ⁣agents, given detailed flaw descriptions.

Real-World‌ Impact:

In a⁤ simulated scenario, LLMs ‍were challenged ⁤with 15 ‍zero-day vulnerabilities spanning website bugs, container ⁣issues, and vulnerable Python packages. More than ‍half of these flaws were ‌deemed “high” or “critical” in severity, with no available fixes or patches during testing.
