A new vertical floating solar system has been introduced in Germany for the first time.
Solar Quarter reported on the 23rd (local time) that German solar company Sinn Power is developing the region’s first floating solar system in cooperation with KQ Zeiss, a gravel crushing plant located in Gilching, Bavaria.
Therefore, unlike existing solar systems, this project features vertically arranged solar modules.
It features the use of Shin Power’s patented “floating tilt” module, a concept that optimizes energy production by adjusting the module’s tilt based on the angle of the sun.
