“Atlantic Solidarity in favor of Users” brings together two regional Health Secretaries on the track

The group of 55 patients who traveled from the Azores to Madeira are already receiving the necessary medical care after arriving early in the morning from Ponta Delgada. “It was with a big hug of solidarity that the two government officials” with the Health portfolio greeted each other on the runway at Madeira Airport – Cristiano Ronaldo.

A note from the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection, sent at 6:12 am, states that “the SATA plane transporting patients in need of hemodialysis treatments landed at Madeira International Airport at 2:13 am”.

These patients join three others who had already come on Sunday.

“The regional secretary of Health and Civil Protection, Pedro Ramos, followed this operation and also had the opportunity to speak with his counterpart from the Autonomous Region of the Azores who accompanied the patients on this trip”, he highlights. “The regional secretary of Health of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, Mónica Seidi, thanked the Regional Government for all the support in transferring these patients to Madeira who require hemodialysis treatment.”

Two pregnant women from the Azores transferred to Madeira after hospital fire

Two pregnant women will be transferred, later today, from the Azores to Madeira. The indication was left by the regional secretary of Health and Social Security of the Azores. Mónica Seidi explained to the media the procedures being taken due to a fire that broke out yesterday at the Ponta Delgada Hospital.

The Madeiran government official “reinforced that Madeira will provide all the necessary help as well as all the health care to all patients who need it”, with “23 patients being transferred to the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital and 32 staying in RG3” , highlights the note.
