Zoom’s Zoom Phone service has broadened its availability in India, gaining approval from the nation’s telecom regulator. This expansion, according to the company, will provide coverage in vital business centers.
The B2B cloud-based VoIP service now includes the telecom circles of Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Karnataka (Bengaluru), and Andhra Pradesh & Telangana (Hyderabad). This follows an initial rollout in the Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu telecom circles in February 2025.
Sameer raje, General manager and Head of Zoom India & SAARC, said Zoom Phone is now available in “six of India’s most prominent business and technology hubs”.
Zoom Phone allows businesses to replace traditional private branch exchange (PBX) systems, unifying communications on the Zoom Workplace platform, which incorporates AI enhancements.
