Every year there are dozens of reasons to go to the cinema, or to cozy up at home in a comfortable chair, turn off the lights, turn on the speakers and have a blast. The best movies of 2025 we already had time to discuss, we enjoyed smart horror films, captivating dramas, original films, unexpected surprises and the return of old acquaintances. Unfortunately, we did not always leave the cinema or the screen with a satisfied expression on our face. This year too, there were quite a few films that gave us a lot of fun.
Just like every year, we will take it a little differently than in the article about the best films. Each of the editors wrote solo and tried without anger and calmly to remember the worst films, the most boring, the most useless and the ones that disappointed him the most. And even the ones you didn’t make time for. Why like this? It’s simple – while we all willingly go to see Avatar, only the toughest dare to see Eva Toulová’s new film. And you can’t ask us to all watch movies that we know aren’t worth much. But don’t worry, each of the MovieZone editors has had their fair share of trouble.
So it’s no surprise that some films are repeated here. Tom Cruise and his last Mission: Impossible was a big disappointment for a significant part of the editorial staff, Mole’s world or Diary of Shopaholička they were more or less entering a previously lost battle and after the director’s previous works we really didn’t expect miracles, we remember with pain an overpriced sci-fi Passage from Netflix or on Frankensteina whether the second Witch. There was plenty to choose from. Unfortunately. But we’re here to make sure you don’t have to.
