Adygea. Baschkortostan. Sacha.

Never heard of it? Never mind. These and other autonomous republics of Russia have received an advocate. Roderich Kiesewetter, the man who saved the Wilhelmine barracks into the 21st century.

He wants to free the oppressed peoples from the Russian clutches and throw off the yoke of Moscow. And who knows: Maybe Chukotka will return home to the EU.

Roderich Kiesewetter.

Germany’s worst swashbuckler and Russophobe wants to smash the Russian Federation into its individual pieces. “A Russia strategy must contain the will to dissolve this imperial empire,” said the CDU politician.

Many Western strategists have this idea for a solution to the Russian question. The country is far too big, it’s high time it was trimmed down. According to François Mauriac’s motto: “I love Germany so much, I’m glad there are two of them.”

With Russia, the love could be divided among over six dozen republics, oblasts and regions – provided they don’t tear each other apart or fall victim to greedy neighbors.

But why stop at Russia? What about Bretons, Corsicans, Occitanians in France? Scots, Welsh and Cornishmen in Britain? Basques, Catalans and Galicians in Spain?

Even. It’s a stupid idea – and therefore conclusive proof that professional soldiers like Colonel a. D. Kiesewetter should be supervised and not have any responsibility of their own.
