According to the 7th Airborne Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, preparations for a Russian attack in the Pokrovsk direction were thwarted. Ukrainian units destroyed a self-propelled artillery system belonging to the Russian airborne troops, which was prepared to support the attack on the settlement of Hrisine.

According to the military report

the Russians hid a 2Sz9 Nona-Sz self-propelled mortar in an uninhabited building in the western part of Pokrovsk.

This weapon was intended to provide artillery support for the Russian 76th Airborne Division’s attack on Hrisine.

After Ukrainian intelligence identified the artillery device, FPV drones were deployed against it. The drones penetrated the building and destroyed the tank with multiple precision hits, hitting its most vulnerable parts. A video was also made of the incident.

According to the corps report, Russian forces then launched a mechanized attack on Hrisine. Ukrainian defenders repulsed the attack, but fighting continued at the time of the report.

The commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s armed forces, Oleksandr Sirsiy, reported that Russia is gathering reserves in the Pokrovsk region and is trying to advance gradually with small assault groups.
