In Ukraine, from March 1, pensions will be indexed by 12.1%. The amount of the premium will not be the same. It will depend on the pension structure.
Minister of Social Policy Denis Ulyutin spoke about this during the telethon, RBC.Ukraine reports.
The automatic increase in pensions will take into account rising wages and prices. Millions of retirees will receive increased payments, but they will vary.
Ulyutin explained a specific example when the pension amount is 5,000 hryvnia:

if these 5,000 hryvnia are formed exclusively from the salary for which the person paid insurance premiums, then the bonus will be 600 hryvnia

if part of the pension consists of additional payments and additional payments (additions outside the insurance period) – the amount of increase will be less.
Let us remind you that part Ukrainians will receive pensions increased by UAH 5,000 in March. We are talking about disabled parents and family members of deceased defenders of Ukraine. From March 2026, a new minimum threshold for pension payments will be introduced for them, significantly exceeding previous figures.
