Witkoff did not explain further about the “big meeting”, especially about anyone who was present.
Witkoff’s statement was conveyed when he was asked about whether there was a “plan for tomorrow in Gaza”, referring to the end of the war between Israel and Hamas in the Palestinian pockets that raged since October 2023.
Earlier this year, Trump surprised the world by proposing the US to take over the Gaza Strip, relocate two million inhabitants, and build a beach property there.
Trump at that time said that the US would clean up the debris and bombs that had not yet exploded, then changed the Gaza Strip to “Riviera, the Middle East”-referred to the popular coastal resort of French Riviera, the southeastern corner of France, which became a world tourist destination.
Israeli Prime Minister (PM) Benjamin Netanyahu at that time praised Trump’s proposal, although many European and Arab countries criticized him.
Witkoff, in an interview with Fox Newsdoes not specify the planned plans. However, he said that he believes people will “see how firm the plan is and how good the plan is”.
