Donald Trump slipped into a political attack on the opposition when conveying his ‘Merry Christmas’ greeting. Trump called the Democratic Party ‘radical leftist trash’ during Christmas celebrations.
Trump made this statement on his Truth social media. Trump wishes everyone a Merry Christmas.
“Merry Christmas to all, including the Radical Leftist Trash who made every effort to destroy our Country, but failed miserably,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform as reported AFPThursday (25/12/2025).

The number one person in the United States (US) even claimed that the US under his leadership had made progress. There is something that Trump is proud of, namely that he claims that the crime rate in the US has fallen and says that the US economy is strengthening.
“We no longer have open borders, men in women’s sports, transgender people for everyone, or lax law enforcement. What we have is a record-setting stock market and 401K retirement plans, the lowest crime rate in decades, no inflation, and yesterday, GDP (Gross Domestic Product) was 4.3%, two points better than expected,” he said.
Trump Responds to Democratic Criticism
Trump further lashed out at the opposition, which has criticized his administration over its handling of the cost of living.
The criticism came a day after Commerce Department data showed the economy grew by 4.3 percent in the third quarter – the highest GDP in two years. The report also showed the price index for domestic purchases rose 3.4 percent – a much higher inflation figure compared with 2.0 percent in the second quarter.
Before Christmas, Democrats criticized the Justice Department for the slow release and extensive redactions of thousands of records from the investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a former friend of Trump.
