by drbyos

Bangladesh Railway used to give discount (reyad) in the fare if the passengers travel a distance of more than 100 km. But as this discount is withdrawn from May 4, the fare of all types of trains is increasing.

Bangladesh Railway Director General Sardar Shahadat Ali confirmed this information on Monday (April 22). He said that train fares will be adjusted as Riyadh withdraws from May 4.

In response to a question about how the train fares are increasing, the Director General said that it will be decided by the commercial wing of the Railways.

According to railway sources, the concession tax on a passenger is 20 percent for a journey of 101 to 150 km, 25 percent for 251 to 400 km and 30 percent for more than 400 km.

Railway sources said that if a passenger travels more than 100 km by train from May 4, he will have to pay more fare. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina passed the proposal for the railways, which was supposed to come into effect from the 1st of this month.

According to the public notification regarding Bangladesh Railway, in 1992, distance-based and section-based concessions were provided to Bangladesh Railways.

Ukraine Russia War, Last Minute | The New…

At the end of 716 days of war in Ukraine, each of the countries in the fray claim to have neutralized the drones launched tonight by the enemy. Russia said its defenses neutralized the 19 launched by Ukraine on four of its regions, including Oriol with energy facilities as its objective. For its part, Ukraine scored the demolition of 10 of the 16 drones launched by Russia on “only civil infrastructure” in Kharkiv.

In the first message of Olexander Syrsk as the new commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, replacing the charismatic Valery Zaluzhny, said that “only by continually changing and perfecting the means and methods of war will we be successful,” he wrote on Telegram, before proclaiming “together towards victory!” President Volodymyr Zelensky named “hero of Ukraine” Zaluzhny.

The Kremlin does not believe that this change in the military leadership will alter the outcome of what it calls a “special military operation.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin in his interview with the commentator Tucker Carlson, he questioned because USAneeded to spend so much on arming Ukraine for a war that, in his opinion, is in some ways a “civil war” and he showed himself willing to negotiate.
