Is called FraGiardino the social promotion association born at the end of 2023 with a clear objective: to carry out a project of social inclusion through the creation of a therapeutic vegetable garden dedicated to people with fragility who need social reintegration or a job placement path. The association currently accompanies ten people on a path to develop social skills and basic agronomic knowledge, alongside technicians and volunteers.
The heart of the project is theorthotherapya discipline that combines care with agricultural practice and raises awareness of self-care through the care of plants. The objective is educational: the plant becomes a tool for personal growth and self-care. Horticultural therapy is also integrated with the knowledge of the agronomist Paolo Pagliarani, who teaches the techniques oforganic farmingoffering practical and professional skills that are also useful from a work perspective.
The “Green that regenerates” course also started, created in collaboration with the Cesena Service Center. The meetings are held every Thursday until April 23rd, from 6pm to 8pm at the Service Center in via Guido Rossa 140 in Cesena. The lessons are conducted by Serena Conti, the association’s orthotherapist, and by the agronomist Stefano Tellarini, and represent an important opportunity for information and training open to the territory.
