A high school student in Montgomery County was apprehended for a purported mass shooting scheme at Wootton High School, thwarted by state and federal authorities, as per the Montgomery County Police Department.
Authorities disclosed that an 18-year-old student named Andrea Ye from Rockville, also known as Alex, supposedly penned a 129-page “manifesto” outlining the alleged plan, despite Ye claiming it was a work of fiction. Additionally, concerning online searches linked to Ye contributed to the arrest and subsequent legal actions.
