New workplaces

Today, Evelon has 65 employees in four offices in Sem, Oslo, Brevik and Kongsberg, of which the head office is at Sem. After the merger, the company will receive 370 employees, divided into ten offices in Norway and two in Sweden.

This will provide new jobs in Tønsberg, Evelon writes in the press release.

– Evelon is headquartered in Sem and is an important local employer. The merger will strengthen the local presence and create new technology workplaces in the Tønsberg area, the company writes.

Managing Director Stian Vik Gabrielsen has built Evelon in Vestfold. He emphasizes that he is happy with the merger.

-Together with Upheads, we can strengthen our position as an IT partner for the business community in Vestfold. This ensures jobs locally and allows us to offer even better services to our customers in the region, he says.

Is approaching billion limit

In 2024, Evelon had sales of NOK 188 million. After the merger with Upheads, they are investing heavily, and are nearing the billion limit.

-Through acquisitions and organic growth, Upheads in a few years have positioned themselves as a challenger to the traditional IT giants in the Norwegian market. The acquisition of Evelon represents the company’s largest investment so far and increases the Group’s total turnover to around NOK 900 million, the company writes.

The merger between Evelon and Upheads follows right after Upheads have established themselves in Kristiansand and Helsingborg.

Now the company has ambitions for further Nordic expansion, the company writes.

– This acquisition is a strategic step to strengthen our position as the leading alternative for small and medium -sized companies in both Norway and the Nordic countries, they write.

-Humans are the most important when we build Norway’s leading IT provider to SMB“The market,” he says.

– We want our employees to have a solid professional environment where they can develop, at the same time they have the opportunity to become co -owners of the company.
