Mayer breaks record
After the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, Bad Fischau-Brunner Julia Mayer is struggling with mental problems. In 2025 she will make this public and after the low she is better than ever in terms of sport. At the World Championships in Tokyo, the 32-year-old finished 33rd. In December, the ex-footballer improved her own Austrian record over 42.195 kilometers for the second time. In Valencia, Mayer finished in 2:26:09, pushing her own record by 34 seconds.
