Since its debut on October 11, 1975, Saturday Night Live has launched the careers of countless comedians, including Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, Tina Fey, and Kristen Wiig. These comedians, along with a host of others, are set to appear in “SNL50: The Anniversary Celebration,” airing live from New York.

The three-hour special follows months of tributes to the show, which has skewered politics, celebrities, and pop culture through the years. Its renowned sketches and songs continue to captivate audiences, gaining massive popularity on social media platforms such as YouTube.

When and Where Can You Watch the SNL 50th Anniversary Special?

NBC will air “SNL50: The Anniversary Celebration” on Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern and 5 p.m. Pacific. The event will also be available for live stream on Peacock.

A red carpet show hosted by Leslie Jones and Willie Geist of NBC News will precede the special at 7 p.m. Eastern, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the festivities on NBC and Peacock.
