Comments from Sendai University Women’s Judo Club’s former captain Hiyori Yoshida (4th year, Modern Martial Arts Department)

“I participated in the Sendai Cup tournament as a player from my first to third years, and this time as a fourth year student, I participated as a staff member.
Although we were able to hold the event without any problems, we faced many hardships, including long preparations and asking for support from local residents.
After finishing the tournament, I felt a sense of gratitude to everyone involved in the management and support, and the smiles on the faces of the players after the match.
Seeing the smiles on their faces made me feel really glad that I was able to participate in this tournament as a staff member. ”
