MORGAN CO., Ala. (WAFF) – The Morgan County Senior Center is hosting scam awareness classes to help keep the older generation informed.
Officials say a resident was recently scammed out of $213,000.
The classes are free and open to all seniors, though lunch is provided only for those enrolled in the Senior Center Program.
The sessions will be:
- March 10 at Lacey’s Spring Senior Center
- March 24 at Somerville Senior Center
- March 31 at Turner-Surles Senior Center
- April 7 at Union Hill Senior Center
