Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.- With the aim of reinforcing the technical skills of the
staff and ensure an efficient response to any emergency, elements of the
San José del Cabo Fire Department participated in training
intensive on the use, care and operation of emergency vehicles. In total, 9
operators and candidates received theoretical-practical instruction for three days.
The workshop called “Use, Care and Operation of Emergency Vehicles” was
taught by the captain and battalion chief Sinuhe Ceseña Albánez, as well as by the
advanced paramedic and coordinator of the Paramedic Academy, Allan Trasviña
Mendoza, both belonging to the same corporation.
During the training day, the staff acquired essential knowledge to operate
correctly the different units of the Fire Department, in addition to receiving
tools to act under pressure in risk situations, where agility and
professionalism are decisive. Likewise, basic techniques were provided to
identify and address mechanical failures, which will allow vehicles to be kept in optimal condition.
