Preliminary investigations indicate that a young Venezuelan man, reportedly between 25 and 27 years old, may have been attempting to end his life.An Ecuadorian woman, believed to be of similar age, tragically fell while trying to prevent him from jumping. The sequence of events began around 4:00 AM when emergency services responded to a report of a man attempting self-harm by cutting his wrists. Medical personnel provided initial treatment. However, just an hour later, security cameras monitored by Ecu 911 captured him walking towards the San Francisco bridge, seemingly under the influence of alcohol.
