LOS ANGELES – As the release of Man’s Best Friend approaches, Sabrina Carpenter is taking a moment to appreciate the one-year anniversary of Short n’ Sweet,her acclaimed album that topped the Billboard 200 for four weeks. The album, released on Aug. 23, 2024, featured hit singles like “Espresso,” “Please Please Please” and “taste.”

The success of Short n’ Sweet marked a meaningful milestone for Carpenter, earning her first no. 1 album and a Grammy award in the pop vocal album category. The album also fueled an extensive arena tour across North America and Europe, which is set to continue this October. Fans can anticipate a refreshed set list that may include tracks from Man’s Best Friend, scheduled for release on Aug. 29.

A Moment of Reflection

Amidst the promotion for Man’s Best Friend, Carpenter paused on Saturday, Aug. 23,to acknowledge Short n’ Sweet‘s anniversary on Instagram. She shared a collection of memories from the past year, featuring behind-the-scenes moments, photo shoots, live performances, and award show celebrations.

Thank you to all my friends i got to make every song with, every video with, create the live shows with. One of the most fun years I’ve had in my whole life. I’ll never take it for granted!!! Looking Ahead

Carpenter’s seventh studio album will feature 12 tracks,including the hit single “Manchild,” which topped the billboard Hot 100. A special edition vinyl is expected to include a bonus 13th track.

Following the release of Man’s Best Friend, Carpenter is scheduled to perform at the 2025 VMAs on Sept. 7 and will also be featured on Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl in october.
