The mobile team of the Police Headquarters of Ragusa denounced the owners of three farms in the Vittoriese, having detected the use of labor subjected to conditions of exploitation, with violation of the rules on safety and hygiene of the workplace, as well as for having failed to carry out the professional training and health care of the workers.
The operators of the State Police carried out checks to three farms, located in the Vittoria area, within which they detected the presence in total of eight workers, intent on preparing the greenhouses for subsequent plants, others for the collection of fruit and vegetables.
During the checks, the agents ascertained the irregularities constituting violation of the sector legislation, for which they reported the three owners, in a state of freedom, to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Ragus courta.
