Breaking: The Musical, a production that insists it is not about Olympic breaker Rachael ‘Raygun’ Gunn, has taken center stage. According to the showS creator, the musical explores themes of dreams, self-confidence, public condemnation, and Olympic breakdancing.

The show centers around a 36-year-old Olympic breaker named ‘Spraygun‘,portrayed by university lecturer,Sprachel Gunn. The production playfully disclaims that any resemblance to real-life figures is purely coincidental.

Comedian Steph Broadbridge, who also stars as Spraygun, initially conceived a similar show titled, Raygun: The Musical, which was scheduled to premiere in Sydney last December.
