PNW July Events: Your Ultimate Guide

as the saying goes, summer in Seattle starts July 5. This year is looking different, with a dry and sunny week leading up to Independence Day.

Rain or shine, this month is packed with red, white and blue fun, sandcastle contests, lots of community events, music festivals and multicultural celebrations.

If you can make it, Sandsations is one of the best sandcastle contests around. Get up close and personal (although, not that close) and watch these master sculptors turn ordinary, everyday sand into something truly wonderful. Other events this month include a crazy reptile and exotic animal show (no Tiger King) in Puyallup, and weeks of a Renaissance Faire in Snohomish.
